The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation announces the new “Think Green” environmental sciences scholarship quiz from December 1st to the 20th. The online scholarship quiz centers on the Florida Everglades. The Think Green Scholarship is available for all high school students interested in environmental sciences and the winner will receive a $250 scholarship.
The quiz is comprised of categories all based on different Everglade themes: history, geography water quality, native, and non-native species. The students that score in the top 25% from the challenge round will advance to a championship round. Each round will have 15 questions. The scholarship, as do all CKSF scholarships, provides a sort of cheat sheet that contains online sources from which the quiz questions were derived. Small prizes will be given to the top 25 scoring individuals.

Developed and administered at Nova Southeastern University's Fischler School of Education, the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) creates unique opportunities for students of all ages by awarding scholarships and prizes through the use of Internet-based quiz competitions. Students who answer the greatest number of questions correctly in the shortest amount of time are declared contest winners. Since 2001, CKSF has awarded over $350,000 to 800 participants in the United States. CKSF scholarships can be used at the school of the winners' choice.
