The Great Gatsby Named as CKSF's Summer Scholarship

July 8, 2013 ·

Imagine Leonardo DiCaprio, not as Jack Dawson from “Titanic” but as the unbelievably wealthy Jay Gatsby. Do the glitz and glamour of his life come to mind?

Now imagine the other characters: Daisy, Nick, Tom, and Myrtle. Is their love polygon straining your brain like it is to ours?

While students are out enjoying their breaks, the staff at the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) is putting together “The Great Gatsby” summer scholarship.

As we dissect F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel, we are composing quiz questions that address the 411 of each chapter.

This online quiz scholarship will give Gatsby fanatics a chance to win a $250 scholarship to use at the college of his/her choice. Everyone is invited to enter. Participants will compete in the Challenge Round, and the top 25% of scorers will advance to the Championship Round.

The first quiz begins on July 14, so register for CKSF’s The Great Gatsby Scholarship at www.cksf.org today!
